The Greek MoD has cashed in a number of performance bonds for non-fulfilment of offset commitments after turning down requests for extensions. The ministry has issued more than 70 letters warning defence contractors that once contracts have expired, offset commitments that have failed to meet milestones cannot be renegotiated and will face liquidated damages.
